Over the past few years, we have seen many different makeup trends go in and out of style. 2023 makeup seems like the year of simplicity, really intriguing looks that you can easily achieve at home. Here we are forecasting what will be on trend in the coming year and what products you need to achieve these looks at home!

Fluffy Eyebrows
Eyebrows seem to always be trending in different ways. In the ’90s people wanted thin and sleek brows. In 2016 it was the complete opposite with bold and chunky brows. It seems like we have currently settled somewhere in the middle with thick yet light and fluffy-looking eyebrows.

To achieve this look generously apply a brow gel through the eyebrows in an upwards motion. If you want to add a bit more volume go in with an eyebrow pencil or eyebrow mascara.

Glowing Skin
The “clean girl aesthetic” has been very on-trend lately and it’s not going anywhere. Radiant skin seems to like it will be a hit this year. This can be achieved using any base you want. It works with no makeup underneath or a heavy foundation. To get your skin glowing apply a bit of a liquid highlighting/glowing product either just to highlight points (cheekbones, nose bridge) or all over depending on where you want your skin to shine.
Blush

The blush had been on the rise lately, but many are still obsessed with the matte skin look and don’t like the redness that blush accentuates. Embracing your natural beauty is more important than ever, which is why accentuating the natural colour in your face is popularizing. To achieve this look, apply light to dark pink blush on the high points of your cheeks for a natural rosy look.

Glittery Eyelids

Glitter has almost always been a part of formal makeup but in 2023 we forecast it to become a part of everyday makeup. Everyone has been obsessed with the glowing look lately and a subtle amount of liquid glitter on the eye will contribute to this type of look. To achieve this use a liquid glitter eyeshadow in a shade of your choice (I like a deep rose gold) and dab a bit into the outer corner of your crease. Blend downwards over your eyelid and that is it!

If you are looking to change it up in the new year or are just looking for a few staples, give these products a try for a fast and easy look that will be trending this year.
